Compare your property documents.
Catch contradictions before you pay.
Upload all the documents for ONE property — LandShield reads each one and flags contradictions between them.
Upload all property documents for the same plot — C of O, allocation letter, survey plan, deed, agreement. Take a phone photo or attach PDFs.
AI reads each document and extracts the key fields. Then we compare those fields across all your documents to find contradictions.
Get a contradiction report, per-document AI observations, and the exact next steps to verify officially with AGIS and your lawyer.
LandShield compares the documents you upload to spot contradictions. Best results when you upload 2 or more documents for the SAME plot — not different properties at once.
Collect every document the seller has given you for this specific plot:
Take phone photos, scan, or attach PDFs. More documents for the same plot = better comparison.
You get two things:
Plus: a checklist of what to verify with AGIS, FCTA, and your lawyer before you pay.
No signup. Files processed in isolated containers, auto-deleted in 60 minutes.
Patterns we check WHEN you upload multiple documents for the same plot. Single documents get individual AI analysis.
The same plot number appearing on documents that shouldn't share it.
Holder name differs across C of O, allocation letter, and deed of assignment.
Land area differs by more than 5% between documents.
Survey plan zone doesn't match the C of O cadastral reference.
Allocation date after C of O issuance, or other broken timelines.
No issuing body identified — AGIS, FCTA, or state lands ministry.
Documents lack a registrable file number for AGIS verification.
Pressure phrases like "urgent sale", "no inspection", "cash today" red flags.
Every property listed on Airealent goes through our team's manual document check. We've watched too many would-be buyers lose ₦20-50 million to fake C of Os, reused file numbers, and pressure-sell tactics.
We built LandShield so anyone — even people who don't use Airealent — can run the same first-pass check we do. It's free because document fraud is a problem for the whole Nigerian property market, not just our customers.
LandShield isn't legal verification. It's the 10-minute sanity check you should always do before paying anyone for land.

LandShield catches obvious red flags. Human experts catch the rest. Always use both.
Yes. Forever. Document fraud hurts everyone in the Nigerian property market — buyers, honest sellers, and our industry. LandShield is Airealent's contribution.
We process them temporarily for analysis, then delete them within 60 minutes. We never sell, share, or train AI models on your documents. Reports you generate are stored only if you explicitly choose to save the shareable link.
No. Only AGIS, FCTA, and similar official registries can confirm a title is genuine. LandShield catches obvious fakes and inconsistencies you can see without going to AGIS — but it's a first-pass check, not a substitute for official verification.
Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), allocation letters, survey plans, deeds of assignment, sale agreements, governor's consent documents, FCDA/FCTA correspondence. Formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP — up to 15 MB each.
We built this for our own internal property-checking team. Opening it to the public costs us little, helps Nigerian buyers a lot, and demonstrates the document standards we apply to every property listed on Airealent.ng.
Yes. Field extraction works for any Nigerian property document. Risk rules are calibrated for FCT (Abuja) — Lagos State, Rivers, and other states' documents will analyze but with slightly less specific pattern matching.
No. A lawyer reviews legal validity, checks encumbrances, runs AGIS searches, and represents you. LandShield is what you do in 5 minutes before you decide whether to even bring a lawyer in.
No — LandShield is designed to compare documents for ONE property. If you upload documents from different properties together, LandShield will think they should match (because they're meant to be for the same plot) and will flag false contradictions like "holder name mismatch" or "plot number mismatch" when really they're just different properties.
What to do instead: upload documents for one property → get your report → repeat for the next property.
You can still upload a single document and get per-document AI analysis (typo detection, suspicious patterns, template language detection, future-dated documents, etc.). However, you won't get cross-document comparison since there's nothing to compare against. We recommend gathering at least 2 documents for the best protection.
Yes. Documents are processed in isolated, ephemeral containers. We don't retain copies after analysis. See our privacy policy for details.
