Is LandShield really free?

Yes. Forever. Document fraud hurts everyone in the Nigerian property market — buyers, honest sellers, and our industry. LandShield is Airealent's contribution.

Does LandShield store my documents?

We process them temporarily for analysis, then delete them within 60 minutes. We never sell, share, or train AI models on your documents. Reports you generate are stored only if you explicitly choose to save the shareable link.

Can LandShield 100% verify my C of O is real?

No. Only AGIS, FCTA, and similar official registries can confirm a title is genuine. LandShield catches obvious fakes and inconsistencies you can see without going to AGIS — but it's a first-pass check, not a substitute for official verification.

What document types are supported?

Certificate of Occupancy (C of O), allocation letters, survey plans, deeds of assignment, sale agreements, governor's consent documents, FCDA/FCTA correspondence. Formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP — up to 15 MB each.

Why does Airealent offer this for free?

We built this for our own internal property-checking team. Opening it to the public costs us little, helps Nigerian buyers a lot, and demonstrates the document standards we apply to every property listed on Airealent.ng.

Can I use this for non-Abuja properties?

Yes. Field extraction works for any Nigerian property document. Risk rules are calibrated for FCT (Abuja) — Lagos State, Rivers, and other states' documents will analyze but with slightly less specific pattern matching.

Does this replace hiring a lawyer?

No. A lawyer reviews legal validity, checks encumbrances, runs AGIS searches, and represents you. LandShield is what you do in 5 minutes before you decide whether to even bring a lawyer in.

Can I upload documents for different properties at the same time?

No — LandShield is designed to compare documents for ONE property. If you upload documents from different properties together, LandShield will think they should match (because they're meant to be for the same plot) and will flag false contradictions like "holder name mismatch" or "plot number mismatch" when really they're just different properties.

What to do instead: upload documents for one property → get your report → repeat for the next property.

What if I only have ONE document for a property?

You can still upload a single document and get per-document AI analysis (typo detection, suspicious patterns, template language detection, future-dated documents, etc.). However, you won't get cross-document comparison since there's nothing to compare against. We recommend gathering at least 2 documents for the best protection.

Is my upload private and secure?
